0.84 acres of salt marsh
in Centerville
Grantor: Olga Fuller & Thomas Waterman
Acquisition Date: June 27, 1994

When Olga Fuller and her cousin Thomas Waterman could find no use for their property near the Centerville River, they decided to donate it to the Barnstable Land Trust in June 1994. The 0.84-acre wetland parcel is located on Waterman Farm Road, the site of a salt marsh hay farm until the 1940s. The lot abuts town conservation land, and is the third piece of land along the Centerville River now under the stewardship of the BLT.
