When Dr. Berry and Christina Brazelton donated 3.09 acres along Maraspin Creek to the Barnstable Land Trust, it became BLT’s fourth holding in the area. The wetland donation will help preserve water quality in Barnstable Harbor, as well as the scenic vista along Commerce Road. The conservation of the site, which was previously a farm, will protect the area, along with all of the neighboring conservation efforts.
